Walking to Ramsbury or Marlborough

You can walk from here to Marlborough taking in the Savernake Forest on the way and walking a different route back (or catch a bus for part of the way back!). Taking in the beautiful Tudor Mansion of Littlecote House famed for the romantic meeting place used by Henry VIII and Jane Seymour!!! You would also walk past the excavation of the roman mosaic. The riverside /canal walks in this particular area are known by bird lovers for the abundance of water meadow varieties like curlews.
